​I am currently pursuing a PhD in Marine Sciences at the University of South Alabama and the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. I am studying microbial source-tracking to improve community health as a DISL-FDA Fellow and member of Dr. Brandi Kiel Reese's Geomicrobiology lab.

​As a researcher, I am interested in investigating the interactions between human populations and marine ecosystems.
